My personal profile.

My name is Dalaney and I am one of three Niueans at St Pius X school.I am a kind person.  I also get distracted easily. My favourite hobby is rugby. I like it because I get to make tackles and try to win.I am also interested in finding information on our topic. I like it because I find out what I knew was right or wrong.

My favourite movie is "Are We Done Yet?". It is my favourite because it is very funny. I also like to read, my favourite book is 

 "My Grandmas Great Escape" it is written by Jeremy Strong. I also like listening to reggae music and  my

favourite artist is Swiss.

MY HOLIDAY
It was  the best holiday!  I went to the wave pools with my cousin and my older cousin's boyfriend's sister . When we got to the pools, we went down the lazy river, it was awesome. Then we played tag and I was in. I chased them down the lazy river, down the slide, through the waves and finally I got my cousin on the slide. I was so tired. I got out and went and sat next to my bag and had a drink.

When I got back in the pool, my cousin sneaked up behind me and tagged me. He ran up the stairs back to the slide. But he did not know there was a line (just a  short one) . There were three people waiting to go down the slide, so I ran up tagged him then he tagged me back then I tagged him and jumped onto the slide after the three people in front off us went down. My cousin was laughing and he jumped onto the slide after me. I went as fast as i could. When i got to the end of the slide I went back up the stairs and waited to go down. I thought my cousin was coming after me again but he did not, he went and got my older cousin's boyfriend's sister and she came running up the stairs laughing. My cousin was so tired. When the people in front of me went i had to wait for the green light but I just went down and she was still in.

After that fun time we went and had lunch at Mcdonalds then we went home and played with the dog and then played cricket.

Narrative

Tiger was watching his favourite TV show, Sponge Bob Square Pants, it was his favourite show ever. He never missed any part. Everyday with popcorn, chips and a drink he would sit and watch. Tiger was the most powerful hero out of all good heroes. As Tiger the super hero was watching TV in the afternoon, the news came on, he was shocked to see that Beast, the most evil Villain in the world was trying to destroy the world. So Tiger went and got changed quickly. He went to the city and when he got there he said that it was very cold and windy because Beast had already started his tornado to destroy the world. Tiger shot his laser at Beast to stop his tornado, but it did not work so they both flew up into the sky and they both were getting blown away because the wind was too strong. Tiger tried his hardest to fight the evil beast. Thankfully Tiger just flew straight through the wind and shot a laser at Beast. Beast started another tornado. Both powers were shooting at each other, but both of their attacks stopped in the middle rebounding off each other. Tiger shot more laser at him but he just made his tornado stronger! Tiger was still shooting lasers at him. “Why wont you give up?” “Because I am not going to give up you are not that strong.” So Beast just made his tornado even stronger. Then Tiger had to use his special weapon in his back pocket. No one in the world knew that he had a special weapon. He pulled the special weapon, it was a gun that shoots out flaming balls. He shot one at Beast. Beast just fell down and was not to be seen ever again.

Punchinello story

Once upon a time there was a little wooden person created by a man called Eli. Once Punchinello the wooden person had heaps of dots on him. Then he tried to jump but he because his wood was rough and his paint was cracked he could not jump at all. After that he saw a girl Lucia. She had no dots at all. So he went and asked her why don't the stickers sick on to her. It is easy go and see Eli every day and believe in him. Then he went home and looked out the window and saw the all the other wemmicks and their stickers. So he went to visit Eli. When he got he wanted to go back home until Eli stopped him and talked to him. He asked Eli about Lucia she was the that told me about you. The stickers don't stick on her because she doesn't worry about what others think she only worries about what I think. Eli said I made you and I love you trust me and the stickers won't matter to you anymore. When Punchinello left a dot fell off him.

My feelings slideshow

My first day at swimming

On a nice beautiful day we went to the courts for swimming. We saw Mr Burton for the second time. First we had to go and get changed. Then we went in to the tent and waited for the girls to come, because girls always take ages. When we were ready to go in to the pool we had to wash our feet in a bucket before we went in to the pool. I was the second one to get in the pool in my group. When we got in to the pool we had to hold on to the side of the pool it was so warm that I thought that I was in bed. Then Mr Burton said to swim to the other side of the pool. Then he told us one by one to swim back to the other side of the pool he said if you don't know how to swim walk. After that we played a game called captain’s coming he told us to come in the middle of the pool. Finally he told us how to play then we had to go back and fourth to each side of the pool. After going back and fourth he said scrub the deck so everyone had to scrub the bottom of the pool. After an awesome game of captain’s coming Mr Burton told everyone to come up to the steps. Then he told us to get in to a group of two. I was with Salamona. We had to float on top of the water. If our partner could not do it we had to help them. Finally our time was over, we had to get out of the pool and then it felt like I was in Antarctica. By Dalaney

My Birthday

On a awesome day it was my birthday. I got up at 7am in the morning then my auntie text my mum and said do you want to go out for breakfast. I said yes and she said wait 10 minutes. So I went to get changed and waited for my auntie to come. Then my auntie came and picked me up and we went to MC Donald's. My auntie got porridge I got a bacon and egg mcmuffin and a hot chocolate. Then we went to the market to look around. After that we went to pak ‘n’ save to buy my cousins school lunchs. Then she took me back home and said happy birthday. When I got home I went inside and waited till 12pm to go to Valentines. After that we went to Valentines at Pakuranga when we got there we had to pay before we went in. We went to get some food I got ham, chips, chicken and sushi. Then I went to the table to eat. My food was delicious. When we finished we went and got dessert I got ice cream and jelly that was delicious too. Then I went to the gaming room and my Mum gave me 2 dollars. I almost won a ball it was a nrl ball. It was the bull dogs ball. After that we went home. First we went and dropped my dad off home and we went back to pak ‘n’ save. I did not want to go in, so I stayed in the car with my sister and was listening to my speaker box. I really enjoyed my holidays.
